The Transactions: Customers / Vendors screen now includes the ability to create leads:

• leads are created the same way that customers are: you can enter contact information, assign a price sheet, specify an automatic discount, assign a route, etc.
• leads must be promoted to customers before you can transact retail sales and/or sales orders; customers cannot be demoted to leads
